30 to 40 Millitants Killed in Clashes in Waziristan: ISPR

The ISPR General Major General Waheed Arshad claimed that 30 to 40 militants have been killed in North and South Waziristan during clashes with the Pakistan Army.

On the other hand, the spokesperson of the militants’ commander Hafiz Gul Buhadur, identified himself Ahmandullah Ahmadi denied the claims of ISPR and tagged them “Baseless”.

A heavy trade of fire between army and militants was underway till last evening.

Meanwhile, another spokesperson of militants warned that if the strikes from the army did not cease, they would start killing more than 200 army men who were abducted in South Waziristan after surrendering.

Afghan National Transfered to Guantanamo


An Afghan National is reported to have transferred to Guantanamo (Cuba) by US Military on the charge of creating links between the activists of Al-Qaida in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq.


“The man tells his name “Innayatullah” admits that he had been leading Al-Qaida activists in Zahidan (Iran) and directed Al-Qaida operations”, US Military Spokesperson told. “He was nabbed during Afghan operations”, a pentagon statement said.

Massive Earthquake jolts Indonesia


A Massive Earthquake hit the western cost of Sumatra (Indonesian Island) with a magnitude upto 8.5 on Wednesday.

Bildings wobbled, water of the swimming pools splashed and the panic workers started running on the streets.

The massive quake also panicked those people who were accustomed to tiny quakes since there were alerts regarding Tsunami in the Indian Ocean.

The Earthquake was also felt in Indonesia’s neighboring countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thiland.

Latest: Also some huge aftershocks were also felt across Indonesia's Sumatra Island on Thursday. The follow-on shocks, including one as strong as magnitude 7.8, drew new tsunami warnings from Indonesian authorities and panicked thousands of people who had already spent the night on the streets fearing being buried alive.

Army Personnel Abducted in North Waziristan (Pakistan)


More Pakistani Military Forces Personnel have been abducted by Pro Taliban Militants in North Waziristan tribal area.

The Militants attack on Security Forced backing up with heavy armaments and Rocket Launchers and abducted at least 12 Army Men. The insurgents are still holding numerous Military Personnel kidnapped about two weeks ago in an ambush near South Waziristan.

South Africa Trounce West Indies in the Inaugural Match of Twenty20 World Cup

South Africa beat West Indies in a thrilled inaugural match of Twenty20 World Cup at wanderers on Tuesday.

Earlier West Indies were able to set the target of 205/6 in 20 overs which was later chased by South Africa with the lost of 2 wickets in 17.4 overs.

18 men killed near D I Khan (Pakistan) in a Suicide Attack


At least 18 men including 4 security personnel are reported to have killed near DI Khan in a suicide attack by a teen ager in a public vehicle.


Officials told that police had been chasing the pick up as police had the intimation about the suicide bomber traveling in a public vehicle and some were on the way the security personnel intercepted the vehicle and told the young boy to get off the bus but instead of getting off the bus he blew himself up in the vehicle although the sources say that his target was not detonating the bomb in the public vehicle but as soon as he saw the security personnel intercepting the pick up he prefer blowing himself up rather than confronting the security men.

The explosion was so severe that the bodies of the victim were thrown at a distance and were torn into pieces. One leg of the suicide bomber has been found.

Police cordoned the area immediately and stated picking up the splinters of the bomb for sample.

The corpses and the wounded were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for urgent treatment.

It is to be noted that before this attack another suicide attack was carried out by targeting a police mobile killing at least 26 people including some policemen on July 15.

PCB tells Shoaib to KEEP QUIET


PCB's Chairman Dr. Naseem Ashraf has told Pakistan's Fastest Bowler with Controversial Career to keep his mouth shut after the dispute occured in South Africa, where Pakistan's Cricket Team is present for taking part in The Twenty20 World Cup.


Earlier, Shoaib Akhtar had pleaded with the PCB not to bann him for a long period, according to him he mistakely hit Muhammad Asif (Fast Bowler) with a bat on the thigh. He said it was the aftermath of the slanging match between him and Shahid Afridi (BOOM BOOM).

Talibans Ready for Talks

Mr. Yousuf Ahmadi (Taliban's Spokesperson) Said, "Talibans are ready for Talks in the sake of National Interest", he added "we are always ready for talks, if invited by the Govt. in good faith"
These remarks have come after the offer of Talks made by present Prime Minister Hamid Karzai to The Talibans in order to put an end to the mutiny.

At Least 50 Army Men Injured by Rocket Attack in Israel


At least 50 soldiers in Israel are reported to have been injured by a rocket attack from Ghaza.



The Rocket hit an army camp in southern Israel.



Some of the seriously injured were taken to a nearby hospital for necessary treatement.



It is considered to be the biggest rocket attack by the authorities from Ghaza that has injured at least 50 Army Men.



Later the men with the small injuries were discharged.



Israeli Govt. is now underpressure to retaliate forcefully to the militants involved in this attack.



Two groups have claimed the responsibility for the attack - Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees.

Benazir Expected to Return in October

Former Pakistani Premier Ms. Benazir Bhutto is expected to return in october.
Ms. Benazir Bhutto's Spokesperson told a private T. V. Channel in an interview that she probably announce her date of arrival in Pakistan on 14th of September as she has planned to come back to her home country.
She will lead the party and launch the Election Campaign from Larkana.
He told, "So far no deal has been signed between The Present Government of Pakistan & Ms. Benazir Bhutto", he further added "although they have been engaged in talks for free and fair elections but an agreement has not been signed yet".

Nawaz Sharif Back To Saudi Arabia


Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Nawaz Sharif is now back to Jaddah (Saudi Arabia), which is taken by the Saudi Officials as his second exile.


When Mr. Nawaz Sharif reached Jaddah airport, some Saudi Officials welcomed him and he reported to have embraced some of the Saudi Officials too, but the media was retain to publish those pics till evening.


One thing which is very astonising here is that no Pakistani Official was at Jaddah airport to receive or welcome The Former Premier Nawaz Sharif despite that fact that Ambassador (retd) Shahid Karimullah was present at the moment in the city.
